General Financing Guidelines

Although every application is reviewed individually, general guidelines may include:

  • The condominium or homeowners association should generally contain at least 25 units.
  • The minimum loan amount is typically $250,000.
  • Assessment and special-assessment delinquencies should generally not exceed 10% of the association’s annual income.
  • The association’s governing documents should permit it to pledge income as collateral for financing.

Final loan approval, rates, terms, and eligibility are determined by the lender.
