Local Law 126 is in effect in New York City & here is what you need to know. Beginning January 1, 2022, NYC Local Law 126 of 2021 (Intro No. 2261-A) will require owners of parking structures
New York City’s “Facade Inspection Safety Program” (FISP), previously known as Local Law 11, requires that owners of buildings with more than six stories above grade have their exterior walls and appurtenances inspected by a prescribed reporting schedule, currently in its 9th Cycle of inspections.
A 40-year recertification requires buildings in Miami-Dade County and Broward County to be inspected to make sure they are structurally and electrically safe for continued use and occupancy.
